Cosplay Prop Rules
-
Cosplay is welcome, including costume props, as long as they are safe and do not disrupt the event.
-
No functional weapons of any kind are allowed.
-
No real firearms, real knives, or real edged weapons are permitted, even if peace bonded.
-
Prop guns must be clearly fake and unable to fire. Bright orange tips should remain visible if applicable.
-
Metal weapons are not allowed unless they are obviously decorative, dull, and approved by event staff.
-
Oversized props are allowed only if they can be carried safely without blocking walkways, displays, or other guests.
-
Props may not be swung, pointed at others, or used in a threatening manner.
-
No explosives, pyrotechnics, smoke effects, open flames, or substances that could damage artwork or the venue.
-
Staff may inspect any prop at any time and may deny any item considered unsafe or inappropriate.
-
Guests who do not follow prop rules may be asked to store the item elsewhere or leave the event.
Artwork Protection
-
Please keep props, costume pieces, and large accessories a safe distance from displayed artwork, frames, and tables at all times.
